Our team consists of returning citizens, master’s-level psychologists, community advocates, entrepreneurs, and other credible messengers who bring lived experience, professional expertise, and a deep commitment to violence prevention and youth development across Virginia.

    Janice Ketchmore is a Genetic Counselor dedicated to helping families make informed decisions about their health.

    Kathleen Scott is the Youth Justice Diversion Program Coordinator for the City of Newport News.

    Jennifer Royal is the Crisis Intervention Specialists Supervisor with the City of Newport News CARe-Community Assistance Response Team.

    Jakhi started off volunteering with Ketchmore Kids, and now lends his voice to help guide the organization.  Born and raised in Newport News, Jakhi is currently a freshman at Morgan State University.
