Ketchmore Kids Family Day

Ketchmore Kids Family Day is about more than an event. It is an opportunity to reconnect with the community and create a space where families can simply come together, have fun, and enjoy one another.

As a violence prevention organization, we are often connected to families during some of the most difficult moments in their lives, including grief, hardship, conflict, and the everyday challenges they face. Family Day gives us the opportunity to connect for a different reason: to celebrate life, build relationships, and create positive memories together.

The day brings youth, young adults, families, and community partners together for positive entertainment, youth vendors, food, ice cream, games, arts and crafts, bookbag giveaways, and more. Community resource partners are also on site to connect families with valuable information and support. Most importantly, we come together, have a blast, and strengthen the relationships that help build safer, healthier Virginia communities.
